Troubles , I Got Some

 They had to helicopter lifeline me to  an orthopedic clinic in the next larger town that dealt with pelvic injuries the day of my accident , bill was a staggering 15 K --finally got paid  by my health insurance  the other day.

What a relief.

I have over 100 K bills from the accident.

I have a personal injury lawyer helping me sort all this who pays  what ( health or car insurances, they tend to try and let  the other one pay so consequently squat gets paid).

That day is etched in my memory ( the pieces I remember when I was conscious), much like the day that Tom died.

I certainly thought that my quota  for pain and drama  was fulfilled the day that Tom was killed .The months/years  of pain I endured mourning his loss and my search  for a new life in shadow of what had been.

Apparently I was wrong.

However, scrappy survivor that I turned out to be (I even surprised myself at the fortitude  I have been able to produce ) along with the help of those that love me, I am  returning from yet another change  of circumstance  with a few more of life's lessons  tucked  away .

I have noticed that nowadays  I could stand to use the handicapped  toilet  stall  when I'm out and about the raised toilet  is  much more comfy for me still ...they are always in use.

Now , I will  admit that I have used them in the past  when I had no need for them, except  that the normal ones were full.Sounds like a touch of karma to me.*Sighs*

Some  of these  cans out there  are extremely low to the ground , and you'd only  notice if you were ,well , indisposed as I am currently .

I'm not quite up to par yet, but I'm getting more and more flexible again  ...I'll be back up and bellydancin 'fore ya know it !
