A Day Late and A Dollar Short...As Always...

Apparently  yesterday was  National Pie Day.

I love me some pie.

I didn't have any to mark the occasion with either.

*Pout*

 However, the day before I scored a pecan pie  slice that  Eddie's Ma had  given him in a Tupperware container  at some point  over the holidays.

Eddie said " toss it, it's probably moldy", but my sniffer  deduced otherwise .

 I mean it's been  in the fridge   sealed --  pecans, corn syrup , pie crust...none of those  things  get bad all too fast under those conditions. 

So ,  that was a lucky find  amongst a ton of  science experiments I helped him toss out.

Some were from the holidays, some from his granny  who left for  FL about a month ago and some were from me  from before the accident.

 So yeah,  between the two of us we cleaned stuff out .Now the shelves just need wiped .

That's for another day.

 I still wish I woulda has some celebratory pie yesterday...
