Ghosts, Goblins, Punkins, Costumes and Sweet , Sweet Candy

It seems that  my sweetie and I  are officially in our  birthday week.

His birthday is October 30 , and mine is  October 31.

That's something alright.

I always tease him about being a "Halloweenie Wannabee".

'Cuz yanno I am the real deal.

As we both age  further into our 40's ( a good thing , really), I am struck by ( duck ! *snort*) how grateful I really am  to have found  someone  who makes my life so rich  by just being in it .

I don't actually need another  dust magnet tschotchkie  , his love ( oh yeah I  said that  gooey thing  --sticky sweet like caramel  isn't it ?!) is  the best  present I could ever have imagined at this time of my life.

Oh and we have matching era  costumes .

Twenties flapper here with my  gangster ( he's in the  counterfeit money  business not just  an ordinary  hooch runner ), it's  going to be interesting as I haven't been seen in a dress  for at least a decade now.

I might let youse guys & dolls  see a picture of us in full regalia.
