Lucky you!! I planted some (allegedly) Texas-friendly tulips several years ago. Haven't seen hide nor hair of them ever since. Beautiful!

I planted some in Texas too...but our dog Soph dug them up
...and the cyclamen we had.* sigh*
She also cursed the Meyeer Lemon tree, but that 's another story...

We went to Holland and got tulips back in 91, brought them back to WV , planted them and they never took.
So this is twice as sweet for us.
