Right About Now

Right About Now

I'm remembering my swirly warm hot tub in Texas.

During the fall, winter and early spring it was  pure decadence  to lounge in it at 96 F with tea, magazines and then watch my solar garden lights come up at dusk.

We  had some hard times with my parents out there, but the  nice moments , they  come back to me  during  these  cold  New England  days.

The loss of sunlight  being  hardest on me at first, now just  adjusting to  so much snow  and the loneliness  of being somewhere new.

We're making acquaintances, but life is at a much slower  pace right now.

I love hot tubs...I can't imagine moving to a brand new city. You are a brave woman!

As much as I wouldn't be able to stand the cold, I definitely wouldn't be able to tolerate the darkness. Seasonal affective disorder. No frozen tundra for me. rosietulips is right--you are indeed a brave woman.
