Dear Scorpio, instead of digging deep into the barrel, looking only for the misshapen, the bruised, and the rotten apples, concentrate on bringing up the bright, red, shiny ones. This way you will bring laughter and smiles to the company around you, rather than miserable frowns. Whatever you bring to the surface will be distributed far and wide, so make sure you reach for the good apples instead of the bad ones.
I have a tendency to see the worst thing that could happen in any given situation.This is a reminder to stop that train of thought before it takes hold and sours everything .

my kids all practice "worse case"...i, on the other hand, tend to use too much optimism...which sets me up to be disappointed more times than not...so just know yourself and make applesauce!xoxox

You should check out my blog today April. There's a post I think you'd find interesting. It's the Joel Olsteen entry and it concerns my husband.
I tend to look at the bright side of everything and I have to admit, sometimes I'm dissappointed. At least if things turn out good, you have a nice surprise :)

I try to expect that things are eventually going to work out fine. Maybe not in the short run, but definitely it'll all work out in the end. It's kind of a middle ground between optimism and pessimism.
