So Dang Effen Bored

We are sitting in this hotel room watching movies and sitcoms until our brains bust  , doing some kundalini yoga , taking turns online , walking the dog 4 times a day ,trying not to just stuff our faces senselessly  all while we wait for all the things  to line up for our grand entrance into our new rental ranch home on the 15th..

They gave me the keys last week , but  I don't have everything  set up yet and they have a few repairs to deal with as well.

Gotta paint, clean and oh yeah  ..get our stuff from a Houston warehouse.

Seems Atlantic Relo needed a 2 week notice so our stuff  may not be here until the 25th...a full 10 days  after we've started renting the house.Which isn't what they said  when they packed up the  stuff on the 16th & 17th of Oct., claiming to be "flexible".

I've used them for other moves with not much trouble.You see the longer they take to deliver our  stuff, the more  storage fee they get.

Refuse to stay in the house on the floor while cleaning , prepping and painting so it's a good thing this hotel room is affordable...

I also have to buy a few more things  , like a breakfast nook for the kitchen, a new vacuum, air filters,a few more curtains ( not all of my other ones will work  from the  Texas house)and  some extra blankets .

Still it's hard to wait .

We've made this huge effort to get here  and take charge of our lives...this downtime  is  megafrustrating.
