Dragonfly , Where Art Thou?

There are so many of them right now, they practically fly into my head at any given moment ,but the minute I have my camera out they are evasive.
The other morning I found no dragonflies yet again , just 'skeeters and a whole lotta sky.

I actually caught a couple snaps of two dragonflies earlier this Summer. I'll try to post them on my blog.
Skeeters!! Gack! They love my baby girl and hubby, but have no use for me?

I grew up on the Gulf Coast of Texas, where the mosquitoes are the size of small birds. I think they mutated from the huge amount of DDT they sprayed all of us with. It just made them bigger and more bloodthirsty.
