After getting an "A" on my philosophy test back today , I was walking to yoga class and spotted this squirrel jumping through the grass.
The mellow October sun shone down on the both of us as our paths intersected in the courtyard .
I couldn't help the big smile that spread across my face as I laughed watching this little creature ; busily jumping between the trees .
A few seconds of joy sparkled inside me and took hold.
Those are the sweet moments that make me glad to still be part of this world.

Yessss....sometimes it's the smallest thing.
Yesterday it was whacky duck birthday cards and I chuckled outloud in chosing one for a dear friend.

Speaking of squirrels, one time we had squirrels that we would give nuts to, and they got more, and more brave, and sat on our landing, then started to climb our screen...soooo my hubby put tabasco sauce on the nut, and the squirrel was running all over the yard wiping his mouth, first one side then the other.......but never climbed our screen again....i know that was pretty mean.... I have a bunch of squirrels in my yard chasing each other every day...and they really are fun to watch.....
