April's Ramblings,Scrambling&Amblings

Another One Bites the Dust

After a 6 hour shift on Tuesday,I'm ready  to get home, chuck the feet up and get the Buffy-a-thon started for the night.

We got the whole series last year ( 97-03) , and this is the third time  we are watching it from start to finish. We watch  two or three episodes every night.Great dialogue, super actors, fabu set designs  and good story lines .

A bit worn around the edges from dealing with Jon and Jane Q Public

Coupla headless posers  by the xmas decs

Sunset dabs the clouds in pink

 Lovely landscape  while I wait

My ride arrives safe and sound

and I'm off to enjoy David Boreanaz/Angel's bro ody hotness and Sarah Michelle Gellar's tuff-stuff Buffy making sure that vamps don't show their mostly ugly mugs around Sunnydale.

Whoosh

Time flies when you are setting up a department store from the get-go!

I got back into the world of retail over the last week.A new store was looking for help ,  so I availed myself  .

The koffers were looking paltry so I decided to get out in the world  and make a few coins again.

When the snow comes, and it will come in copious amounts ( I keep hearing last winter was mild)--I need do-re-mi to pay the snow plow dude .Cuz I didn't come here to expire  on the long  driveway up to my New England rental home , shovel in hand  and pink faced.

My daughter has got several money making  venture s  going on but the pay is lower and less frequent.

The place is close by  , and a pretty straight shot on the main road . Even during the dead of winter I shall be pushing store credit card on hapless customers  and  straightening tchochkies and  leisure apparel.

At least life won't  be so lonely anymore.I have missed more people in my life.

Being the new kid on the block is a lonely business alright.
